RAAF Base Williams / Point Cook Airfield Management
for Department of Defence
REHBEIN Airport Consulting has managed the day-to-day operation and maintenance of Point Cook Airfield for the Department of Defence for over 15 years.
Point Cook is the oldest continuously operating military aerodrome in the world, although today it is used exclusively by civilian operators. These include the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University, which conducts its flight training programs at the airfield, and the Point Cook Flying Club. The Base also hosts members of the RAAF’s 21 Squadron and the RAAF Museum.
Our personnel provide 7-days a week, 365-days per year coverage and responsibilities include conducting daily serviceability inspections, recording aircraft activity, maintaining the aerodrome manual, emergency plan and other regulatory compliance activities associated with Registered aerodromes.
In addition, we schedule and oversee maintenance activities, liaise with airport users on matters of airport access, charging and leasing, make recommendations to the Department and/or its representative on applications to conduct non-aviation related activity on the airfield and supervise these activities as required.
